Ouroboros Ring
Ouroboros is an ancient symbol of eternity, cycles, and renewal — a serpent devouring its own tail. In Walter Wittek’s interpretation, the ring captures this endless motion, symbolizing the unity of beginning and end. The ring was designed in 1983 and has now been reissued by ORFÈVRE. Each ring is made from 925 sterling silver and bears Walter Wittek's hallmark.
In 1985 Walter Wittek received the Bavarian State Price for the Ouroboros Ring, which has also become part of the Pinakothek’s permanent collection in Munich.
