SPANNRING WITH DIAMOND FRAGMENT
Walter Wittek gained international recognition with the design of the tension ring – a technical and aesthetic innovation in which a diamond is held solely by the tension of the metal, appearing to float freely.
This ring traces back to the origins of the concept: while experimenting with a glass carrier, the plate broke, leaving a shard of glass caught in the ring. A coincidence that became the source of inspiration.
