Tantal Ring with 7 Big Gems
This ring by Peter Hassenpflug is a bold and sculptural piece that celebrates color, form, and contrast. Carved from a single piece of tantalum, the dark, matte band serves as a grounding element for a vivid constellation of seven large gemstones set around its circumference.
Each stone is distinct in character and cut: an oval faceted hessonite, aquamarine, white topaz, and yellow tourmaline; a smooth oval moonstone cabochon; an antique cushion-cut beryl; and an oval ruby cabochon. Together, they create a rich visual rhythm—an interplay of color, texture, and historical reference.
