This ring by Peter Hassenpflug is a bold synthesis of elemental form and luminous detail. Sculpted from a single piece of tantalum, its dense, dark metal surface bears the quiet strength of the earth it came from—solid, matte, and timeless.
Set into this minimalist form is an oval, faceted orange sapphire—a vivid focal point that glows with warmth and contrast. The gem’s vibrant fire plays against the cool, steely finish of the tantalum, creating a quiet tension between light and shadow, polish and rawness.
Each ring is individually crafted and can be made to any size.
